i just put a tunze pump in my reef tank and iam wondering if its to much for my clams, i have 1 maxima & 2 croceas, maxima 4'' crocea 5'' the maxima and 1 crocea are on the oppisite side of the tank from the tunzebut this pump puts out a lot of flow i have them up 3/4 in the tank do you think i should disturb them or ride it out and see what happens i was thinking abuot moving them to the bottom of the tank iam running 2-250 watt mh hqi & 2 96 pc any suggestions?

what are your tank dimensions and which tunze are u using is it on a wave machine how many gallons/ liters is your tankthey will be fine on the sand i dont think its a good idea to move clams alot but if they need it then u can just make sure the clams foot hasnt attached to the rock as removing it from the rock is extremely hard and damage to the foot could end in the death of the clam

tank is a 75 gal tunze is #6080 2250 gph no wave maker the large crocea does not seem to be attached but the maxima is attached to a large piece of rock
