Just bought a toadstool coral, it won't attach itself or open up.
any suggestions?

give a few day to open up place rock at the base of it and it will attach itself in a cloupe of weeks hope this helps

agreed... while they are hardy and long-lived, they can be sensitive to handling and slow to open.

Maintain good turbulent water flow, and have patience. And do not move the coral around the tank often (very stressful)

He's finally attached about a week ago, do they like alot of current and would he move if he didn't?

no moving... they are not motile/able. No worries though... they can adapt most anywhere reasonably. Just don't blast a powerhead right at it
