Well, here we go and again and just two years since I started up my 75g. The 125g has finally started, sand in and clearing up

Wow, looks like you beat me to the finals. Looks great Todd.

Cheers,

OK after spending most of the day dismantling the aquascape in the 75g came to the realization that I had waaaay to much sh*t in there. It's always a little sad to break down a system even when going bigger-n-better. Yet definitely time overdue as was starting to lose corals from over shading/growing each other plus the normal aggressions from being to crowded.

lil 75g lookin rather empty...

temporary 20g lookin kinda stuffed and only one fatality, hungry Acan ate most of one of my favorite Favia

and a couple pics of the new aqauscape under construction in the 125g, going for a dual diagonal LR islands trench type look and counter clock-wise gyre flow

Letting things mostly settle out today and will be setting up Apex and working on LED lighting

Well it is finally wet! The rock scape looks great. How long will the corals be cramped up in the 20?

Looking good Todd. Glad I made it over to hog up a couple hours of your time. Its a well thought out great looking system that should provide you with years of problem free reefing.

Thanks All, cannot wait to have all livestock within the new tank and everything dialed in. Been stressfull as expected, moving or transferring always has some complications and one of these times would really like to do it mistake free... lol... This time by cramming all those corals into a 20g even though temporarily should not have placed the Killer Acan in with all those defenseless corals, it killed most of a favorite Favia :rip: then the infected biomass sluffed off and ended up in the middle of my huge Birdsnest colony :frusty: :tape2: :censored:  Now will have about 50 small frag colonies. Just about finished with aquascape enough to set all the corals and maybe Friday to move Hawaiian Fish from QT to thier new home. My plans of having the Fuge lights finished and Apex unit programmed now delayed until this evening / tomorrow morning.... oh well back to it.

Thanks Dave and Earl for stopping by as was a much needed break in this seemingly never ending chore of transferring everything just a mere 10 feet. 98% of corals in place and no real re-aquascapes, been attacking this like a game of Chess always planning 3-4 moves ahead. Well.... back to it... hooking up the Apex Controller and then finally transferring the Hawaiian Fish out of QT this morning... then pic update.

Great chatting with you and seeing your new system up and running. Give me a call if you need any assistance with anything.

Cheers,
Alex

OK, a sneek peek before I get overwhelmed or frustrated with the Apex setup.
