too much cleaning???

I've read several places that you should empty your skimmer cup frequently and clean the chamber about every 2 weeks. Well, I'm rather compulsive about my cleanliness and find myself cleaning out the collection cup every day or so. Is it ok to clean it this often or should I have longer intervals in between cleanings? thanks a bunch,

Clean away my friend. A clean skimmer works more efficiently.

I agree. Keeping it clean will provide a smooth surface for the bubbles to travel on. Deltec automated this with a fancy brush that wipes across the neck, and then skimmers with wet necks also provide a nice smooth surface for the bubbles.

well like Linkster and Brian said .. just keep cleaning .
It means that your skimmer it's working good dood.
i clean my cup almost every week because of all the goo i get which i don't mind.

I try to clean mine 2 times a week, so don't feel so bad. Clean away, it makes a happy skimmer.
