Are 4 36" 96W VHO too much light or heat for a beginning softie tank (60 gallon about 20" deep)?

My plan is start with softies and may add lower light requirement LPS later after some reef experience. No plan on sps or clams.

I was going to start with 2 VHOs, but I just realized that the used light system (HelloLights) I got connects 4 VHOs in serial, so I cannot just use 2. Are 4 going to be ok? Or should I but new end caps wiring to stick with 2?

Thanks alot.

pretty hard to have too much light for most softies. That is why you see mixign SPS tanks with soft corals. Some lps hate high light that I have found and some soft also such as mushrooms and others. keep them low and just aclimate new corals and slowly move them up in the system. I have moved SPs up to quickly that are high light corals(blue) and bleached them.
