Hi all. I am currently running a Toys for TOTS drive as I am somewhat saddened to hear that many children this year will not be receiving any toys. Toys for TOTS bins are about 1/4 what they used to be this time of year.

As a result, I am going to run a mini drive. If you bring me an unopened toy, you will receive one free Clarkii clown. Please only toys with retail prices of $5 or up. Bring three-four toys and I will get you a pair of Clarkiis and a free 10 gallon tank to start them in.

Let's do it for the kids.

Best,
Ilham

That's very nice of you Ilham...It's good to see there are people out there that care. I wish I lived in your area to help out...Let me know if there's anything I can do to help from my end:)

  Wow that's great! We will bring you some toys. What is the cut off date that they toys have to be dropped off?

Jesse is getting a new bike for his birthday tomorrow and his old one is in great shape just too small for him. So I posted on craigslist last night looking for a boy who needs a nearly new bike for Christmas and I had 4 responses in 15 minutes. It's quite sad, I have these four boys and one bike. I picked one of them but feel so bad for the others. I wasn't expecting so many people to say hey my son really needs it. A teacher from the Seattle School District replied about a foster boy so I picked him.

If anyone has any nice used bikes in their garages your kids have outgrown there are lots of local kids who would love to have it.

Great thread Elmo

Are you setup to do anything with paypal and cash? I can't get up there anytime soon, but I'd like to help.

Hi Marty. I would prefer no cash donations....as it may constitute other views. I am sorry :(

However, if you are wanting to make a donation, please visit the website I linked below:

Elmo-- this is a great gesture on your part and hopefully you will make a big difference. Have a Happy Holiday Season you deserve it!!!!

Well i think tomorrow i'm going to get some toys, anyone have ideas for what little kids want these days? as a teen i've kinda become ignorant of this especially with no children of my own

That's awesome of you MarineTeng.

YOu can do either of a couple things. If you have toys, we can schedule a meet probably on friday the latest, if you would like some clowns. Otherwise, it would be better for you to drop them off at a local drop off location.

Best,
Ilham

friday will probably work for me, let me know if you want to meet anywhere or if u want me to come the entire way that'd be fine too

Ilham... Now this is what people need to start doing... Taking Charge...

Hats off to ya man...

Well after much running around, 3 trips to Toys for Tots drop off locations where they alreayd picked them up, they will now be safe in the Verizon Wireless Toys for Tots bin tomorrow.

Thank you for those who donated toys here at my place or elsewhere. Have fun with the clownfishes and take care of them ;)

Many thanks to 'MarineTeng' who donated 5 toys here today, and others.
Looking forward to doing something like this again next year.

Best,
Ilham
