Hi All,

Thought I would show you gys the beginnings of our 100gal system being set up over here in Sheffield, UK.

Its a Rena system modified with a weir and custom sump. There are 2 DSB's in the tank and an Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000 multi SL in the sump. Aprt from floss for polishing and some No-Phos thats it. There is an aesthetic smattering of sand on the base and 40Kgs of cured LR plus some base rock.

Hope you like. Stocked pics to come soon!

I really like the floor!!! :D

You'll have to keep the pictures coming, your set-up is umm, unique. So you'll have to keep us up to date.

Trevor

Missed a bit

Sorry - kind of missed out the middle bit; arranging rockwork etc etc, but here are some shots of the tank pretty much fully stocked. Inhabitants:

7 Chromis
2 Occelaris
1 Yallow Tang
1 Regal Tang
1 Blue cheeked goby
1 dragon goby

1 cleaner shrimp
1 blood shrimp
1 brittle star
24 turbo's
24 various hermits

1 glaxy coral,
1 pulsing xenia
1 orange sponge
3 button polyp colonies
1 frogspawn
1 leather
1 finger
1 brain
1 mushroom rock

and thats it for now - maybe some more coals soon, probably a false gramma or candy wrasse.

Would love some feedback guys, so let me know what you think.
Regards

Francesco.

NB - Anyone on here from St. Louis? If you are, can you take some cookies to my grandma?:>

Francesco, nice looking tank!!! That is also an interesting use of sand beds, having them under the rock makes sence to. Congrates, looks like the making of a good one.

Thanks mike,

I wanted to post better quality pics, and maybe some dv footage (OMG I am turning into Mr Fish Geek) but I cant figure how to upload larger files. Or is it easier to put a link to a yahoo briefcase or similar?

Again, thanks for the encouragement!

If you can load a pic onto your website you will be able to link the url to it, but thier is still a size limit.
If you have problems shoot it over to me and I will do it for ya.

slurpee

It is now apparent I need to fit a durso standpipe or similar, as the water noise in the overflow is getting two much. Any particular mthod to follow or tips from experience?
