What are some good methods for trapping an elusive fuzzy legged black crab?

I know u guys run into this. Mine has gone unchecked for a long time.

He's growing fast, and I caught him red-handed eating acro's yesterday.

It's hunting time!

Also I got a sally lightfoot crab after my new lights caused an algae bloom, and I am pretty sure it eats polyps on occasion also (caught yesterday eating pink birds nest 95% sure).

The tilted glass method usually works pretty well. Put some nice food like a small portion of a cocktail shrimp (soak it in RO/DI water for a while to remove the polyphosphates first) in the bottom of a glass and lean it against the rockwork before turning out the lights. They will go looking for food, go into the glass but won't be able to get enough traction against the smooth glass to get back out. Sometimes you have to move the glass to other rocks (don't continue using the same piece of shrimp though...you won't want the bacteria to break it down).
