tunze 6125 start up issue

Pumps done.
I'm upset, this is a $200 minimum pump.
I just got another for my other tank too.

Pump will only run backwords. Ill take it out when I get.time.
My new one came with the silencer clamp. Hopefully it will last longer than this one

Get a cobalt neo flow

Or wp-40 I think it is.

Does the tunze have that bumper thing on the end of the prop, and if so, is yours missing? I've gotten koralia's that didn't have the bumper... but was able to fit the one that came with a MJ1200 on it.

I've picked up used Tunze pumps and had a problem with them and Tunze fixed them for free.
Sometimes they have a issue with a particular pump and it becomes a "known issue".
In the past they were pretty ready to fix them.

Spiezak might b right... I'm hopin.
I just did clean it and a skimmer. The tunze magnet clamp made mince mear out.of a cpl fingers.
I do have a black stopper that u are talking about sitting aound.
Also a little red washer went down the drain. I think it was from the skimmer though.

Guess It don't hurt to send tunze an email bout it, if I don't fix it later.

Chances are the re stricter on the inside of this pump was removed. Turn the pump on and put you hand over the end of the pump. You'll hear a click and then the water will come out the right way. Mine do that all the time

K well guess its calcium carbonate build up.
I cleaned it well with a sample of magi clean I had. Pump still clicks in reverse...noisy now when it does run.

Gonna get a pump from krisfal tomorrow hopefully. Also new impellar and a silence clamp for $60 to fix this pile.

Ok typical D thing here. When I cleaned it last.I didnt assemble it correctly.
I had turned the impellar around to where the black bushing was no longer between the mags. It was in front of the prop.
Oops.
Quick fix though. Lol

Yup runnin again.
Coral seems to b ok. I let it run last night. This morning it was humming away in reverse.

So I took it out (fourth or fifth time) again. Put the return pump on the back wall.
Got on tunze website... noticed my shaft had the washer on the wrong side. Doih
Lol sometimes I swear.
