Unknown growth

I dont have any pictures because i could not get a good one. i have a odd growth. That appears as if it's spaghetti noodles in my reef tank. I dont believe it is spaghetti worms because it does not look like it and also it is on a rock and a little spot across from the rock on the back of the tank. I just noticed it, and it appears not to be hurting anything. Do you have any idea want this could be? Should i be worried about?

um i dont know what there called but i have lots in my tank. they have never hurt anything. you can really see them come out if you feed after the lights go off. i have all sorts of stuff i didnt pay for. fun part of reefing. you never know what will pop up.

do you have any macro algae that could have been pulled over?

Are they hard and white?
