update on hair algae

hello everyone in your ocean world,well i will tell you was,nt easy making my refugium/sump from my old 25 gallon fish tank but it was fun with overflow boxes to boot,i put some biosediment in with some small pc of live rock some bubble ,and some bushy red algae i have a 50/50 15 watt flouresent light in there wonder if thats enought light want to get some more micro algae . realy no great change in hair algae strong hold but only three weeks into it

I really don't know what to tell you, but I feel your pain because I too fought with hair algae. So much so that I took down my tank and I'm starting over. A refuge is a good idea though and I'm sure it will take time. I think you may need a little more lighting though...If I read correctly (15w 50/50 in a 25 gal refuge) I think it supposed to be around 5 watts per gal.
