Updates/Design of the site.

I hear that people have problems with the site... but I have NO clue what the problems are. Please! If you have a comment, or need something done POST IT. I cannot work on / fix something unless I know about it. I also am unable to make up all the content on the site. If you want something on there, please write it up. Most clubs rely on their members to supply their content.

here is one I heard... the rotating banner needs to be done... I went and spent the past 5 hours fixing it, and finding the errors. It looks OK... It's not where I want it, but it's the best I can do right now.

I did not put it on the first page, but all the other pages or the aesthetics of this.

frag swap info for website

Hi Josh,

Your box is full so here is the info for the website for the frag swap:

~~October 21, 2006 PSAS Meeting Information~~

We will have an old fashioned frag swap! Talk about fun! It’s a great time to meet everyone and have lots of fun looking at different corals and have a great time socializing with fellow reefers.

The event will be at Salsaking's salsa factory in Auburn!! Address will be included in the evite. If you are not on the PSAS evite list, PM Colleen or Randy and they will get you added! The event will start at 3pm.

HEY JOsh and everyone:

I want a vote about the website. I know we have ongoing requests of Josh and I know he has his many responsibilities including school, work and all of his volunteer projects.

My committment to the club this year was to get our site up to date and full of vital information. For example, I was thinking of something like the new Rocky Mountain club site that was posted on Reef Frontiers.

The vote I am asking is if you feel spending some club money to hire a company to get the site larger and set up in a way so it could be maintained simply.

I dont want the entire year to pass and not have this accomplished.

We still dont have next Saturdays meeting on there for example.

Let me know what you all think.

No I haven't but I talked to Sandy and Wil at Reef Mystigue this afternoon and she went into detail how the designer worked with them and didn't take much time; etc. There site looks pretty nifty..... so if all agrees I thought I'd talk with theirs, and see what they think.
