I am expecting my new Mp 40 Quiet Drive pump on Friday 4/13 and will be selling my current MP 40wES.
Manufactured dated is April 16, 2014.
It is surprisingly quiet, compared to older ones I've had and heard in friends tanks.
This one will be available Saturday morning 4/14.
As soon as the new one arrives I'll pull this one and put the wet side in vinegar.
I've had this one running about 6-7 months.

I'm guessing you didn't know about the upgrade options? For $50.00 I was able to upgrade my 4yr old mp10es to the QD For another $45 I could have made it wireless.

yes I did, but wanted a whole new pump.
the upgrade for the mp 40 is going to be $75 I thought, when they get to shipping them.

Not right now.
IMO looks like a lot of plastic inside the tank.
The wetside of the Vortech has a minimal look.
