Water storage tanks?

For Seattle folks, the Chubby & Tubby gardening center on Aurora in Shorline has tons of food grade containers and olive barrels. I think they are closed up for the winter until March 1st or sometime around there. I plan on getting a some from them as soon as they open.

Cool! Let us know when they are open!

I am going to check out some farm supply stores here in the North Sound this week as I want this all figured out and ready by the time my tank gets done.

If you are looking for 55Gal food grade barrels, I bought 2 from a guy in bellingham, runs adds on CL often. I paid $25 each.

I thought about using the barrels, but then they would have to be out in the garage and I would have to run plumbing through walls and cabinets, which I really dont want to do.

There is also someone from Lynnwood who regulary posts on CL foodgrade barrels $15 - $20 for 35g & 55g I believe

How big of a container do you need? I have a blue 15-20g tall container. It is the diameter of a 5g bucket. Free for you:)

I appreciate that Sarang!

I really am looking for at least 2 40 gallon containers so that I have fresh and saltwater made up. Ideally they would be 18 inches in diameter so that I can fit them next to each other in the space that I have.
