Water Topoff System

I made a water topoff system but when the pump stops the water keeps siphoning thereby flooding my sump. Unfortunally, my display tank is in the basement and I can't get the resevior any lower. Will a solenoid valve solve this problem or does anybody know of a brand of a topoff system that will shut the water off when float switch read full.

You can place the outlet above water level on your system to break the syphon. I wouldn't use anything else as any check valve will fail eventually.
