What is with all the websites being down. Many of my links are dead. Some were up yesterday. Some reef forums are dead or have been dead.

Reef Sanctuary has been down since yesterday for one. This one was also down last night but that may have been for upgrades. RC was also down for hrs. last night. Many of the links that I use are down in my links folder. Yes, that includes smut Bob
what the smut is down that over 70% of the intrenet
the intrenet is like a curse my youngewr brother just sits and plays wow for hours and then dosent go to school
i like the net but sum people relie to heavly on it i just use it for reef keeping and downloadn stuff for free

upside to this maybe i wont get a butt load of junk emails now

Yes Morgan, you can type in almost anything and end on on smut site while doing a search. And I'll bet yor are close at 70%
Boomer, I noticed problems off and on with Reef Central yesterday. But if I waited a few minutes, it'd let me do what I'd been trying to do.
This site has been running continuous for 35 days since some maintenance we did back then.

Ah no Dew, your site was also briefly down the other night. Can you explain that. I got remote server could not be contacted. Just like this for RS

Thankfully no one turned it into a porn site. Someone turned mine into a porn site but was dumb enough to have a IP address provided by our service provider.

Boomer, perhaps your own server was having problems?
I am thinking it is not on the server side but on your side (vista issues, ISP issues, etc). Reef Sanctuary has been up and running for what I can tell ... Reef Frontiers has not been down at all ...

my uber geek friend who works at microsoft wont touch vista with a 10 foot pole, so what does that tell you?

Well Skimer if I could do it over it would not be Vista with a 10 foot pole either. For about the 20th time I popped the url in Explorer. I got text this time and no images and this time a flippin permisson to access this page came up. It is the first time I have seen that. I clicked on it and POOF RS is up
Does Vista have the capability to put the security settings way low?

Meant server issue as in ISP issue, perhaps a problem at his Internet Service Provider?

Yes Dew it does. I will have to look into that. Now it is set to Medium. But I must say there are lots of pop-up mesages when I do things on this Vista, most security related. I just tried to use spell check here and got a message to get iespell "click here', so I do and the webpage was like RS a few minutes ago "cannot display this website"

Well it seems microsoft got another ME huh. Gates needs to get back into that office rather then running office.
