I just %$&$^##ed my career....Amazing I make have NO failures in almost 10 years...mess up for the first time ever and now I am outcast. Ill just crawl into a bottle now until it or I go away.

Winning....fail...such a range of emotions that make me want to make so many irrational decisions.

If you're feeling inclined to make "irrational decisions" right now, your best option is to DECIDE to NOT MAKE ANY DECISIONS, until that inclination passes.

I don't know the details, nor do I need to, but there's always options AND always positive options.

Yeah...the worst part is the first time I failed was when someone else put there name on the line for me. I honestly could care less what happens to me. I'll survive and I always have, but the guy that vowed for me has been waiting 17 years for his shot....finally got it and is going to get drug into my failure when it is no ones fault but my own.

I am more than ready to stand up and say this was me...I accept responsibility and to take whatever is thrown at me. I mean they aren't going to shoot me so it isn't any worse than anything I've been in. What is worse is watching my failure bring down two of my closest friends who had NOTHING to do with anything except saying I was good to go.

The bosses and yelling and degradation is no big deal. Honestly **** em. But I HAVE to figure out a way to defend the people that would otherwise defend me.

You know some of the harshest words I have heard:

You are an embarrassment to yourself, your regiment, and your country. Wow I must really suck...lol

Dude, dont be so hard on yourself. We are only human. Everybody makes mistakes. We need to learn from them. I'm sure your friends that spoke up for you will stick by you. I know it is rough when someone else has to pay for your mistakes, but I am sure you did the best you could. Dont hang your head. Focus on how you can make the situation better. It is good to vent. It can and will get better..
