i have some kind of very small organisms running around on my rocks. the best way to describe them is that they look just like a clear tadploe w/ legs and are very fast. what r they

I don't, but they look like little clear bugs to me. I usually only see mine when the lights are off and I surprise them by turning on a flashlight or something. You may have to google it if no-one has a photo:)

they weren't visible during the day when i had fish in the tank. now they are out all the time, even w/ the lights on

Yeah, I may spot one or two with the lights on, but tons at night. If I want to see any at any time, I can just look behind my cleaning magnet. I have about 15 of them living in there. I wonder what they are thinking when I am cleaning the glass??

Tadpoles would probably be mysis shrimp. Copepods are more like fleas. Amphipods would be super-sized "C" shaped fleas.

yep, their definately copepods...they must have multiplied exponentially since i took all of the fish out. they are everywhere

don't complain... lol free food for most fish, if you have enough you can get a mandrin, though be careful about other fish too
