What are these?

There are hundreds probalby all over the rock. The best I can describe it is they look like a pineapple kind of. Round kind of body and then pointy up top here are 2 photos. not the best camera so bear with me.




 
Hard to tell from the photo... but they look like Sycon sp. sponges (sometimes call pineapple sponges). If that's what they are, they are harmless. :)

I think you nailed it.. I looked up "pineapple" sponges and it came up with the same looking pictures of what is in my tank.

I had a ton of them all over the place before I accidentally introduced copper in my tank. then BAM! they and all my corals left me.. lol

dont use tap water
