Some type of pod. Most likely they will benifit your tank and feed some of your livestock too. I catch them all over m rock work at night. They're almost like cockroaches. When the light hits them they scatter.
 
Ever see that movie "Alien"? That's it in it's larval stage. Next time you get heartburn I'd be worried!
 
Hey here is a Very good reference also UM. If you feel somethiing running across your forehead cover your nose, ears and mouth RUN:bolt:
 
Darryl, funny you should mention that. Last year during one of those really hot nights I was sleeping without a blanket and felt something rather large run across my back. The next morning there was a huge wolf spider right above me on the ceiling.

Not to take this to much off subject but Wolf Spiders are NO FUN brings back BAD memorys of North Carolina. On the UM link above are PICTURES of the different POD'S out there and how you can tell them apart.
 
I couldn't remember the other pods name... All I could recall was Copepod at the time I wrote that first post. Air... I left you a note on your WTB: Mandarin post in the classifieds.

Like anything else structure. However, exact ID can usually only be done with a microscope. An example

There is no similarity between a Copepods and a Amiphopods.
