Reef chemical additives... Most of us use them, some of us don't. Just curious if the ones that do are loyal to one particular brand or is it all over the board. There is also some categories for those with more "natural" ideas.

when i had corals in my main tank, i use seachem calcium advantage, reef builder and buffer for pH and Alk, respectively.

I am using kent marine tech a & b in my 75. I think I have had really good growth of the sps with this.
I have however bought the brightwell to give it a try in my 180.

lol..... HIPPIE all the way, ive added aquavitro CAL once to my tank and dont think i will again for some time.

Fauna marine balling light ultralith salts w/ heavy metal complex additives. Unreal sps growth and zowie colors. Too bad that its difficult to have lfs keep in stock.

The Brightwell line has worked very well for me, but I use BRS Calk/MAG/ALK and Kent's version of Purple up.

Aquanut,

Interesting....For those of you that were NOT aware of balling salts (as I was not), here is a link:

Fauna Marin Direct

This food product caught my eye:

Fauna Marin Direct

Have you used it?
What LFS carries these products?

Kirk,

The food link isn't working for me but we carry almost every FM product.
Deborah, the Balling Salts are back in stock. We now have a second supplier who stocks them. Hopefully, no more shortages;)

Like I said your link doesn't work so I don't know what specific food you are looking at. We carry most of FM's foods though. We have liked the products we've tried and the feedback has been positive. Which product were you looking at specifically?

Cy,

Do u carry the food product?
If so what r your results/feedback

Have you checked out the Ultra food for Zoa, Acan, Paly...for large pollup corals? Currently I'm using a blend of Brightwell that is Phytoplankton and Zooplankton with my dosers 4th port. These products don't require fridgeration and using feed cycles over the day which adds to pollup extension throughout the day and not just at night.
