I've got an older (16 years-ish) Seaclear tank. Nothing against them, but if the design hasnt changed in the intervening 16 years, I'd go with a tank from World Class or Envison. I say this because the openings on the top of the tank are really quite narrow, (admittedly its a narrow tank...60Lx18Wx18H), but its going to be very hard to get any decent sized or oddly shaped liverock into my tank. Its also going to be tough to get decent lighting above my tank that wont potentially cause damage to the top strap of the tank.

Becuase of all this, I plan on eventually setting it up as FO tank.

I've heard nothing but good things about James at Envison and The World Class guys.

Seaclear might have changed things significantly in the intervening years since I've bought this tank....I dont know for sure. But keep in mind what you are wanting out of the tank and how the top design will affect your goal.

Where do you live? Brian at Innovative Aquarium over here in Kitsap County (WA) makes great tanks.

I was under the impression that IAP was trying to get out of the hobbyist aquarium making. I could be wrong.

But I do know 2 people here on the board who recently had IAP made tanks crack. On the other hand Mojoreef's tank was also made by IAP and its doing fine...
