I believe that the reason that I got ick was because I didnt QT my fish. Now that Im ready for fish again I need to set up my QT tank. My question is: What do I need for a QT tank. I have limited space and a budget. What do I NEED to have and what could I get away with? How do I set it all up? My lfs told me that they recommend that I Qt in a large tank. Why?? Thanks in advance.

it depends on what kind of fish, and how many fish you will be putting in qt..you could get away with 1-2 smaller fish in a 10g..if you are planning on keeping several in it, you will need a 20g long(minimum)...you could get a simple hang-on back filter with a biowheel, a heater, a pvc elbow(for hiding), and maybe a powerhead for water movement..in a small tank with several fish, you will need to stay on top of the WC's
