i have a little worm in my tanks. i think i had them before. its a little worm with spines all over it. i bought a little trap a long time ago. what do you think it is and what eats it or how s=do i get rid of them. i put me little trap ( a green plastic tube) in there . i caught one then it escaped. theyre not supposed to be able to get out so i took my time going into my tank to get it.oops

Bristle worms are harmless and a lot of people think of them as beneficial(me included) because they are great scavengers. I have tons of them in my tank with no problems. The only annoying thing is that when you touch them the little bristles get stuck in your skin and it's a little irritating

Don’t worry about them. They help keep thins clean and sift the gravel or whatever you use in the bottom of your tank. Heck I even use them for entertaining people once in a while. Sink a silverside to the bottom and they just start coming out of the woodwork. They can make short work at making it disappear. Most of the time in 2 hours or less you would never know there was a dead fish on the bottom in the first place.
