Looks like a black Stomatella snail to me. I may be wrong.

Can't tell for sure from your picture but the most common hitchhiker we see, that looks similar, is the Ducksbill Limpit (known by other names). We've only seen them eat algae and they seem to reproduce quite easily. Like I said...hard to tell from your pic but here is a fact sheet with a ton of links to other photos and Q&A's. HTH
