I use reef crystals and have a kalk reactor (soon will have a calcium reactor), but...
I would like to have a good quality calcium supplement and a good magnesium supplement to have on my shelf (to add if needed to bring levels back up).

I have been using warner calcium (liquid) and tech M for magnesium, but now there are new things out there like the elos brand. what are the best ones to use?

I have ordered from them. I bought 7 pounds each of mag chloride/sulfate, calcium, and soda ash. it was around $70 shipped. I haven't done all the math but that should make about 20 gallons of supplements. if you consider that you pay about $7 for a 8 oz bottle of most brands, that is really cheap. $70 equals 80oz of name brand or 2500+ oz of home brew. I bought 3 one gallon jugs of distilled water to mix it.

for calcium you get 1 gallon per cup(there are several cups in 7 pounds)
mag is 1 gallon per 8 cups
it's roughly 6 parts calc to 1 part mag

feel free to correct me. =]
