What is this?

Well i was looking in my tank today and well thing are looking pretty good i just got out of a red slime infection. YAY! but What the heck is this~!

I didn't put it in my tank so im wondering what it is. it has a bit of a "sponge" like look too it.


any ideas?

Filter feeding sponges that will do no harm to your tank and are in fact a bit beneficial.

There is know way to ID that form that pic, it could be lots of things i.e., sponge, algae, ascidian etc., . A sponge is just a wild guess. Get a close-up with good detail
