found this in my tank, Trying to find out what it is and should it still be alive?

COOL! Those are a relative of the Chiton family. Harmless nocturnal rock cleaner, mine is +4" and been in my system nearly 10yrs that I know of.

So how long ago did you find this thing? Any idea how long you've had it? How long is it? Do you have anymore pics of it?

tank has been up and running 6 weeks, found it today in the live rock. would guess at about 2 inches long when it moved. When i first saw it it looked like a crab with the legs missing lol.
Will try to get more pics but he or she fled into the rock when the flash went off
