What's a good magnet?

I have a 175 Bowfront, glass. I'm using a large mag-float, it doesn't work very well. Keeps seperating when I run it across the glass. I was looking at the Hammerhead and the Tiger Shark. Anyone with experience with these and is so which one woul dwork better for my tank. Thanks for any suggestions.
