For all of the back yard barbecue king's and queen's here is a rub that will do wonders for your rib's, chicken, pork butt ro whatever you grill

2 tablesppons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder or ground chilies
2 tablespoons freshly cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons paprika

All you need to do is throw them together and mix them well with a fork or spoon and then rub.. I try to do it over night.... Enjoy
 
Have you tried Makers Mark?

And with the big BBQ weekend here, this is a great marinade.

MAKER'S MARK GRILLED STEAK MARINADE
For each steak -

1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Maker's Mark (1/2 oz.)

Place steak in deep dish and rub with olive oil. Crush sage and rub on both sides. Then sprinkle the bourbon and lemon juice on both sides. Dust with garlic powder and put steaks aside to marinate for about 2 hours. Turn them several times.

Cook steaks over a hot grill to medium or medium rare.
 
Dimetries bloody mary mix is probably the best steak merinade Ive ever had. Just soak for 30 min heat the grill to 800 45 seconds on each side the one final flip for 20 seconds. Perfect steak!
