When to use what lighting

Hey guys I have a 29 gal bio and I have 1-36 watt 10000k daylight strip and 1-36 watt actinic strip along with the LED lunars. How long should I run each? I usually turn the actinic and daylight on at the same time and leave them on about 11-12 hours and leave the actinic on for about 1 and then the LEDs all night.

I enjoy the look of running my Actinic's about an hour earlier than my 10K's... leaving everything on for 9 hours, turning off my 10K's... and leaving my Actinic's on for an hour longer. So, my Actinic's run for 11 hours, with my 10K's running 9 hours.

I kinda use my Actinic's to give a "dusk-dawn" type effect.

Never had the moonlights, but if I did, I would turn those on about 10 minutes before my Actinic's were to go out... then run the moonlights for about 4 more hours I guess.

I agree with Ed. I run my actinics only for about an hour in the morning, then turn on the daylight bulbs. In the evening, I turn off the daylight bulbs about an hour before the actinics are turned off.
