We recently adopted a pair of full grown, mated watchman gobies. They are the same muted yellow color, but one is slightly thicker and longer. The larger one is more adventurous and swims beyond their burrow. The smaller one will perch on their pile of sand outside of the burrow when it feels like humoring us. Is there a way differentiate between Fred and Wilma? Please advise...
Thanks!

I would like to know the difference too lol we have a pink spotted and I would love to figure out if it is a Mr or Mrs.

the problem with watchmen gobies is that their isn't a very visile way to tell the difference. many aquarist will say that the more subdued and gray the color the better chance it is a female. i kindof question that because although most of the time they are sexualy dichromatic with the female being grayish, some time it reverses or they both wind up being the same color. so a better method is that the male is the one who will spend most of the time tending to the eggs, so when you find the most devoted parebt, you've got your man. (just remember to tell that to the next women rights leader that approaches you))
