who makes the best 20,000 k bulb

just like the title says. I'm looking to upgrade my Ushio 10,000 k with something a little more blue in it. Was thinking XM for $59. not a bad deal. Thanks!

"Best" well thats debatable. I recently made the same switch from ushio 10k to xm 20K and am happy so far.

For the first few days it was damn near painful. Now I'm happy I made the switch.

I dont think so but thats a question for one of the lighting experts. I think 20k's are just for taking pretty pictures of corals.

I had the 20K XM's on my 75gal and loved them As for corals needing it, from what I understand it is the Kelvin rating below 10K like 6500K or so that they use to grow, but I'd double check on it. The blue tint is mostly for our pleasure and coraline likes it
