WHO'S LEDS?

I think i decided to mix my t5's with leds. i was looking at rapidled and stevesleds. what im wondering is steves heat sinks are a 1" square tube how ever long you want. but rapids i can get square heatsinks. so i was wondering what do you guys think would be better? square would give more coverage, but with the strip the leds are 60-90 degree lenses so it should still cover everything. right?

Fins tend to disipate heat more evenly and quickly without hot spots.

thats what i was thinking. but the tube one has a fan that connects in the end of the tube

it will get hot and wont last as long
