why do zoa tentcles go thinner

does anyone know, or is this like why do the bta's have bubbles and not?
here's mine, they're thin tentacled

well, i've heard that zoos get longer skirts with more flow. check out http://www.zoaid.com/articles.php?id=1 for some info.

I agree. Most of my zoas are showing signs of that. I kinda don't like it though. I wonder if there is a way to reverse the effect?
