Will this sting??????????????

I just purchased a long tentacle plate coral and placed it somewhat near my yellow figi tonga leather and it seems as if this plate coral is litterally reaching for my tonga will either of them sting one each other or are they ok to be placed in somewhat of reaching distance. Can anyone help with my problem.

Heliofungia sp. don't usually bother leathers too much. However, don't let them near other LPS unless you are selling tickets to the fight to support your reefing hobby.

Also remember that heliofungia have the ability to "walk". They inflate their bodies over the calcium carbonate skeleton. By choosing where to inflate, they "walk" They will find somewhere in the tank they like if they don't like where you put them and if they happen upon another LPS (in my case, a galaxia coral) during their travels, there will be a war. (The galaxia lost).

He's right, I had to move my open brain away from my slipper coral for the same reason. The slipper has never bother any of my leathers tho.
