Zoanthids growing together?

So I have a pretty good sized rock with about four different kind of Zoas on it. What is going to happen when they all grow together? Will it look ugly? If they usually don't look good when they all grow together I will probably just remove all of them but leave some nice bright green ones and let them grow over the whole rock.

If anyone has some pictures of multiple zoas growing together that would be great.

If you like all 4 indivudually, then they should all look good grown together. However, one or two zoas may eventually push out the others, so you may end up with just one type anyway (a ways down the road though depending on growth rate). If you see that happeneing you will have plenty of time to frag out the ones you want though.

Yes, all of them were mine at some point in my reefkeeping adventures.

I did lose a fair amount recently to some unknown outbreak/predator.

Hey Brian,

They do grow together. Some will become more dominate and maybe even choke out others...

I am kind of on the fence whether not to mix them. I have a lot of mixed rocks and some I keep separate. Anything high end, I would probably keep separate and give it some growing room.
