Ahhhh.....we were very proud of the girls but disappointed in the way the championship game was decided. Plus the team that team we tied was also the team that beat us at the last tournamentWe would have won the game had it not been for the old fart of a referee. So I'm not going to be one of those crazed cheerleading moms and go and kill a player on the other team or dress up like my daughter and go play:lol: Guess they have crazy parents in all sports these days. Brianna is following in her moms and aunts footsteps...She scored 16 goals Saturday and at least 8 Sunday. Okay so they don't keep count at that age but it was pretty funny.
Sounds like Carmella did well. I really love to watch cheer competitions although I would get a little nervous if it were my daughter on top of a pyramid or being thrown in the air They say its the most dangerous sport for girls ya know? Let me know if she has anything local..If we aren't busy with soccer maybe we can go watch her

How did cheer competition go this weekend?
Alexi's team was screwed out of first They tied their first game 2-2. One of the other teams goals was a penalty shot because she was 'supposedly' pushed or tripped inside the goalie box soooooo she got a free kick at the goal (pretty stressful to be a goalie sometimes) The ref was an old fart making all kinds of bad calls...neither of the teams were happy with himOur team won the next two games 5-1 and 10-0 Unfortunatly....because of the way they settle things up..the team we tied won our pool because they had fewer goals allowed..they allowed only two (our goals) and we had 3
soooooooooo....what really sucks is that they had the two 'pools' divided up by ability. So our pool was the better teams. So the team we tied beat the winner of the other pool 9-0 We should have gotten 2nd place. It SHOULD have been the two best teams in the final Can you tell I'm a little mad? In Indiana's tournaments, they give all the u8-u10 'participation trophies. Ohio says they don't do that cause its not fair to the girls that work hard...Okay, then don't divide your freaking pools up by ability, not fair to the girls in the 'A' pool that have worked really hard

Oh BTW....That movie 'American Carol' looks funny. Movie making fun of Micheal Moore.Can't stand him
