    Yes you would need 5 viles of Coral Frenzy if you were trying to feed a 1250 gallon tank. I usually feed my tank 3 times a week. If you have that large of a tank I would recommend mixing it up and target feeding your corals instead.

    If the hole is too large and you cannot get it to seal right you might want to try using a coupling over the pipe and go up to the next size uniseal. I don't know what the outside diameter of a 1" coupling is but somplace like Savko Plasitc www.savko.com would probably be able to help you...

    Yes phytoplankton is used more as a food to feed the critters in your tank that in turn feed your corals as most do not eat it directly. Phytoplanktons nutrition is amino acids, vitamins, and minerals just like any other food.
