    welll i think my algae growth is due to a bad bulb.. not sure.. i have 2x175hallides over a 20 long.. but i think the algae growth is becuase of an old bulb that needs to be replaced... but what good comes out of running lights constantly the whole 24 hours of a day .. and hwat bad comes out of it?

    hi.. i have a question about photoperiod?why is it that some people keep their lights on for X amnount of hours versus Y amount.. wut are the advantages/disadvantages of keeping on lights for a long period of time?(9+hours) any comments or additional questions would be awesome.

    yah i do regular water chagnes ever 2 weeks or so and im using instant ocean salt.. ill look toget a ca test kit within hte next week.. have thanksgiving comingup ... i think i can wait a week since everythign else seems to be doing okay.. ill come back with results then. thankss

    well now the bulbs work.. maybe a ltitle too well.. lol i think too bright corals not used to the new bulbs so they bleached a little.. going to need to move my lights up a tad.. but the bulbs are working now.. im not sure what was wrong.. i guess the bulbs just had to break in or something...

    okay wel i turned the bulb off ... after it was on for about 10 minutes runingn well.. and hten i waite about another 10 minutes to try turnign it on again.. to amke sure it works.. and it wont turn on anymore ;aghds;ads;hds;gdsa sigh someone kill me my life suck!

    i recently purchased a hamilton tech mh175w true 10000k bulb to replace my older 14k bulbs... when i put them in and turned ont he ballast.. they started turnnign on liek normal bulbs.. then after they got warmed out.. they started blinking and my ballast started makgin this sound... and hten...
