    what color is yours? i had a colony right under a 250 DE and all it did was stay brown so i finally traded in to kevin for some credit. Other than the color it was a hardy coral and a pretty fast grower, plus i liked the growth form.

    I really like Atlantic Tangs, they are bright yellow as juvs. and a beautiful blue with yellow tail as adults, kevin at aquatic dreams has a couple.

    MH upgrade help needed

    just a suggestion but i run a 250watt aqualine buske (sp?) 10k and it has great color looks,more like a 13k. anyways im very happy with the bulb and like the color more than the ushios i see most people running but i dont knowhow they compare to the Hamiltons..just something to look into.

    Is the algae made of small hard specs, i get what i think are diatoms on my glass sometimes and they are hard to get off and are sometimes bright green

    Skimmer Suggestions anyone?

    i have a remora on my gallon and it works like a charm, i paid less than $200 for mine. its a much better skimmer than the prism i had on my 29. plus its not nearly as bulky or noticible when you look into the tank.

    no the shadow is not as noticable as it looks but i think i will be getting a second pendent so that i can hang one on each side of the brace and mabye get rid of the shadow.
