    i used silicon on my overflows and it's held up fine for the time being.

    http://www.sunsetglass.com/ will do it for you but like trido said they don't guarantee that it wont break during drilling though.

    I bought a used 180g,72x24x24, made from 3/8 acrylic by flying fish aquariums and after doing some research I'm feeling kind of sketchy about setting it up. Should I feel safe setting this up or should I just chalk it up as a loss and start looking for another tank.

    I know it's going to bow pretty good but I'm mainly worried about the integrity of the tank. I'd hate to have a tide pool on my living room floor.:D

    I bought this tank on a impulse and am now worried about setting it up. What's your guys and gals thoughts about this? I just got my OM 4way and hammerhead pump and am itching to get started setting this thing up.

    help identify this??

    while I was checking out my tank I noticed my tank was hovering around 83degrees. :eek: Turns out my heatrer was being silly so I pulled it out. Next morning the temp was back to the 79ish range and the spots were gone:D Thanks for the help everyone.

    leebca, thanks for the great reply. Corey the other tank mates are a Scopas tang, sixline, diamond goby and two black & white ocellaris clownfish.

    Just picked up these little fellas tonight and noticed some whitish discolorations on them. So, never having any real experience with it my question is is this ick?

    surface skimming removes the scum off the top of your water, I saw somewhere where a reefer used some pvc fittings to make something like this. By the way I'm a mspaint master and if ya didn't know you'd better ask somebody:lol:

    it'll work as long as you can deal with the unsightly pvc :D and surface skimming
