    i have a giant red leg hermit crab that i bought about 2 weeks ago. I also had 5 astera snails and now i have 3 the hermit has killed 2 asteras is he not compatible with snails or just looking for a new shell he also killed a smill red leg hermit in my tank here is a pic

    what size tank? that will determine how much live rock, how many fish,how much salt,subtrate(sand or crush coral), filter size,lighting,and everything else you will also need a hydrometer,maybe some 5in1 test strips by the way welcome to RF

    ask your LFS if they sell something called bacteria now. this stuff establishes your bacteria cycle into your tank in 24 hours.

    it's a mixture of figi,tonga,and a few pounds of lava rock some big pieces some small some dead corals good mixture

    i know a man that has about 120 lbs of live rock that was in a tank about 2 yr ago. he dismantled the tank , put the rock in 5 gal buckets(no water). this rock has been in his barn for almost 2 yrs with no lids on the buckets. My question is can i put this rock directly into my tank?:confused...
