    2 critters I would like ID'ed

This guy is a slow mover and blends in almost perfectly with the rock/coraline algae. Also took a lot to pry him off...enough so that it was killed in the process. I have noticed a couple of others in the tank though. It has a hard colored surface on the top and on the bottom is very soft. I...

    Picasso Clowns

Picasso saved by the dog. The lights had been out for about 20 mins and was getting ready to go to bed. Heard the dog whining at our door and rolled my eyes as I knew I forgot to take her out. So I let her out and while I'm waiting I take a flash light to the tank and notice one of the...

    What shrimp?

I personally prefer a Harlequin. Doesn't provide much in the way of functionality in your tank (cleaning, etc) but it does make for some good eye candy. Requires a choc chip star once a month. http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29475

    Picasso Clowns

Well the new thing on these guys...it was dark with just the moonlight on and I could only locate one of them. After about 5 mins of searching high and low I found the other picasso hosting in an hawiian feather duster. What a crack up.

    Picasso Clowns

Well...we got them as a Christmas gift from a relative. I was a little apprehensive introducing them to the tank with another clown that has been in the tank for about 4 months but its almost like a they are related as there is not territorial disputes that I have seen. Here is a pic of the...

    clown fish and anemone?

I tried that route....and have no success. The frogspawn is right where the clown hangs out all day long and all night long and still no success. I recently aquired a RBTA for $50 from a local fish store but I think its to small for the clown to notice right now. If it ever does. This is as...

    Is this an anenome?

What we have in our tank has been there for going on 5 months since we established the tank. It has not spread and has not even gotten any bigger then what it was when the pic was taken. It is for sure some sort of aptasia. One thing I have noticed is since moving the live rock around it is...

    Critter Identification plz

We just moved and during the move of our 29 gal tank I had taken all the soft corals and placed them in a styrofoam cooler and covered them in water. Well when we went to place them back in the tank I found these 2 critters: They are both the same species...almost like a yellowish color...

One week after set up and tank done cycling????

I think my answer is very simple....for me I enjoy the challenge and the new things I see everyday and my 2 friends wayne and mike and I like to talk and trade stuff. My wife I think has the best overall goal....she sits in front of the tank for a couple hours a day just staring at things...
