    Filter opinion question

    right now i only have a yellow tang that i will be removing shortly to put in a larger 90 gal and 2 medium sized oeceleris clowns (sorry for the typo) and one medium sized gold stripe maroon clown... that's pretty much it.

    I have a 29 gal that i have a Emperor 400B biowheel filter hanging on the back. The filter does not collect any debris anymore and i was thinking about removing it. I have a prizm skimmer on the tank and NO PLENUM. Is this a bad idea or good idea? I do not have a sump or anything like that...

    DIY-ers Please help a newbie!!

    Thanks alot for the info.. So i should use both holes drilled in my tank to drain water down into the sump and then pump it back up elsewhere..? What are your opinions on a small refugium??? I like the idea, but i'm not sure it's the best choice...
