    i need a new skimmer

    I would go with a Bak Pak. I've cleaned collection cups from a Remora & a CPR skimming side by side and have noticed the CPR actually pulls more than the Remora. *shrug* this is based on my own evaluations...that, and I like CPR. :D

    I think the Bak Pak with bio-media is for "fish only" tanks. If you have enough Live Rock, it will stand in as a biological filter to keep from needing any bio media. You could probably take it out and, i dunno, use it as confetti? :D wee!
