    Why not the Supreme Dynamaster air pumps?

    Why are these not more popular with the large air stone skimmer users? Mine draws .55 amps, and the specs on the new ones are to 10psi. Parts are available and cheap. The air pump of choice looks to be a $150+ sweetwater. Could it be that they have been around "forever"? Mine is over 20 years...

    Run - do not walk -and go get one. Best money I spent on my water making equipment.

    Make sure those block dont scoot. Maybe some liquid nails. Kind of a pain when the car is not there, but at least you know they wont move out of place and not be noticed.

    I have found if you install a gate valve on the line from the overflow and cut it back to match the flow rate, the line will fill up and will be silent on the upstream side of the valve. The downhill stream will still produce noise. So, either put the valve at the sump, or below the floor...
