    No fish in there at all. I have a lot of Collonista and Stomatella snails that came as hitchhikers on the rocks but they only graze the real fine stuff, not the hairy large macros.     photoperiod is 12/12, and I have about 4" of southdown in there (was originally supposed to be a mantis tank so I opted for a lot of substrate.. but changed direction.). I believe there's about 25lb of LR in there.

    Hmm maybe I'm just not doing enough water changes? I change every 2 weeks, about 3 gallons out. Perhaps I should do this weekly? The only livestock I have in the tank is 1 hermit crab, GSP, a small zoo rock, 2 mushrooms, 1 xenia stalk, and 1 galaxia. They all went in very slowly, months...

    hehe I remember thinking my Aiptasias were pretty cool when I just had 2 of them, teling myself "I'll get around to killing them eventually..." Now they arn't so cool anymore, and I don't think I'll ever be able to kill them off completely ;).

    Hey Alice, I have things in my tank that look exactly like the pic you posted, however they do retract into their tubes, contrary to what you've written... They havnt really spread, although theyve gotten a bit longer to accomodate for their position... are they really that bad? thx

    I have that auto top-off Vandur mentioned, no more lifting that 5-gal jug to topoff! It is seriously a worthy investment, whether you buy premade or make your own. Vandur, u have a PM about the GSP.

    dark red coraline algae?

    on a somewhat related note, any ideas as to why corraline grows easily and readily on anything aritificial I introduce into the tank (powerheads, plumbing, cleaning magnet, etc..) but I cant get but a couple of spots to grow on my glass where I really want it?

    Anyone know where to get a syringe?

    I've got two larger aiptasias in my tank, and just noticed two little tiny guys sprouting up. Not up for buying some shrimp or whatnot to eat them, I'd rather blast them myself. I'm just not sure where to get a syringe with a needle around here so I can kill them. Anyone? thx

    Where to get 15H tank?

    That would be pretty cool, as I need something with the same top/bottom dimensions of a 10g (I already have lights so they need to fit that). Did you make it yourself or soemting? Whats with the silicone?
