Did like a 80% water change today and threw all my zoanthids in there. The light is temp, I don't think it has the oomph to keep the zoas happy. This is about 15 minutes after the huge water change so water isn't perfectly clear yet and about 10 minutes after I dropped all the zoanthids in.
It was a great idea had the PVC been cut perfect, but some spots were taking in all the water and others were untouched. I currently have 1.5" couplers with teeth but they plug up too fast so I'm wishing I had done the norm and made a overflow with teeth and perhaps a bean animal overflow.

Since my last post the clowns have figured out the nem and fell in love with it.
The male stays like this most of the day and night. The carpet is like his big Snuggy :)
A sexy shrimp I have in the tank that hangs out near a hammer coral 90% of the time.
Tank looks great!
Snails are sort of a nightmare in rimless tanks. Nerites are the worst for escaping so I don't even bother with them anymore. Virgin nerites however are pretty cool and I haven't had one of them leave my rimless yet. My favorites are ceriths, dwarf ceriths, virgin nerites...
Here is a recent pic. The tank has changed a bit and the krylon is peeling like crazy off the back, i'm almost thinking of just sticking GSP on the back. A local reefer had this blue/green/purple carpet anemone I couldn't resist so I took out the large rock on the left. I plan on removing...
Probably the last pics of this tank since it will be moved to my Cadlights 7 gallon zen.
The small size of the tank just makes maintenance more of a chore than it needs to be :(
I'll post my 7 gallon soon, it is far more sophisticated lol.
I haven't done much with tank, i've been on the fence with what I want to stock it with and i've had terrible luck with fish in it so it has been fallow for quite awhile. The drain is 1.5" bulkhead and it is almost silence since I put an acrylic lid on the external overflow box. I'll try and...
Thank you very much :)
This tank has turned into a strombus breeding ground.
The new small candy cane addition, they will stay until they get too large.
Geez copycat lol. Yeah keep the wheel wet and wear glasses and a gas mask as fine glass dust will be flying. Go very slow never rush as that could cause the cutting wheel to skip ahead and perhaps fracture the glass. Also wear gloves since you will have glass dust all over your hands when you...
Yeah 15s don't really bow the glass is thicker pretty sure that is why they are 3x the cost of a 10 gallon hehe. The MP10 is awesome and i'm running reef crest at like 50%, any higher and it starts blowing the sand all over and it isn't super fine sand either. I'm very happy with my purchase...
