    Crazy-face worm

I caught another one this morning. This worm is possibly a Oenone Fulgida. Mine are. What I caught this morning was about ten inches long. I trapped him and when I pulled it out he shot out of the trap and rolled up into a ball at the bottom of the tank. I used a Turkey baster to suck him up and...

    feather duster

Sometimes the "feathers" will fall off too. The whole head. I had one do this and eventually it grew another one but a different color. I also had another one that the head came off then the worm came out of the tube and died.

    125 gallon setup

Another thing. When I finally have the cash for lights which direction would be more advisable? Metal Halides or Flourescents or both? And how many?

    125 gallon setup

I have a new 125 gallon that I will eventually be setting up as a reef but for now will start working on getting it set up as a fish only with live rock due to the fact that I can't afford the lighting yet. Crazy-face worm

I've seen these in my tank as well. They don't like light and are very fast. I saw one with a flashlight once eating a snail. They are nasty critters and populate quickly. I have only been able to catch the big ones with a nudibranch trap with a fishing line tied to it so I can yank it out of...

    leather's split

I have a leather coral that not too long ago shrunk and pulled in all of it's polyps. Then one day it started to divide into two. It eventually split apart and I ended up with two leathers. Now they both seem to droop and don't stand upright like they did when they were one. Any ideas why they...

    banggai Cardinals

Ok, fortunately for the two cardinals they have no other competition. The flake I tried on them floated down to them as I held a little pinch in the water before letting it go. The powerheads did the rest of the work pushing it around. You could be right about them being new to the "system" as...

Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot.

    banggai Cardinals

I just introduced two small Banggai Cardinal fish to my reef and have tried feeding them flake, frozen krill and freeze dried kril that is mashed up a bit. They instantly go for it but immediately spit it out. Any suggestions as to what they prefer to eat?
